The Vivo Y51L comes with a 5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a pixel density of 252 ppi. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz. Coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable upto 128GB), the Vivo Y51L seems like a decent smartphone package.
In the camera department, the Vivo Y51L has an 8 megapixel camera on the rear,with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor for clear selfies and video calling.
On the connectivity, the Vivo Y51L has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n as options. It packs in a decent 2,350 mAh battery under the hood and comes with Dual-SIM connectivity.
The smartphone is powered by FunTouch OS 2.5, running with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. A Marshmallow update is not expected soon. It has a 7.52 mm slim metal frame and weighs 157 grams.
